MatchWizard Communicator is the next generation color communication system developed by Archroma Global Services. It allows you to setup a secure and efficient color communication network . Digital color standards are shared through the network and color submits are received into a web database. Color submits can be reviewed from the desktop and comments sent using the integrated e-mail program. Both lab dips and production batches can be reviewed and approved using the system. Record keeping, report generation and searching through previous submits is made easy. MatchWizard Communicator contains all the features needed to make digital color communication work efficiently and effectively.
Shared Standard Data : Color standard data is shared by all program users through the web database to ensure that everyone uses the same data. Additions and updates to standard data can be made quite efficiently.
Shared Color Submits : All color submits are stored on the web and can be accessed using MatchWizard Communicator from different locations. This eliminates some of the problems and inefficiencies caused by receiving a large number of color submits by email. Working through the web database allows several people to work on the same list of color submits without having to send files back and forth.
Compare With Previous Submits : With a single keystroke it is possible to retrieve a list of previous color submits for the same color. This allows quick comparison with previous submits from the same source or from a different source which in turn results in better decisions by the color approver.
Exchange With Datacolor : Exchange color data with the popular Datacolor systems to widen the scope of collaborative work. QTX files can be drag-dropped onto Communicator from emails. Web submits can also be sent out as QTX files by email.
Submits Data Reporting : Create daily, weekly, monthly reports on color office activity. Reports for a single color or a single vendor can also be created easily. Color submit information can be exported to Excel for data analysis. Spot problem areas and track supplier performance.
Automated Email Response : Color analyst can quickly send a detailed response to submitter using auto-generated email text along with a PDF attachment created by the program that shows color simulation in 3 lights and color difference plots. Emails are generated by MatchWizard Communicator using the installed email system (Outlook/Notes/Exchange/cc:Mail)
Spectrophotometers : Works with a variety of different spectrophotometer models from different suppliers. This allows you to use existing instruments in your supplier base and enable participation in digital color communication without additional investment.
Spectro Profiling : Integrated spectrophotometer "mapping" features allow comparison of remote instrument with master instrument. The spectro mapping information can be transmitted with each color submit to ensure reliable decisions based on color numbers. The mechanism used by Communicator allows high-fidelity color communication.
On Screen Color : The simulated color of the submit and the standard are shown in three lights to get a good representation of color differences. Out of gamut colors are marked.
Texture : Textures can be applied to the on-screen color simulation. Scanned images can be used to create customized textures.
Software Design : Communicator software design is optimized for efficiency. Hot keys are available for common functions. "Auto-fill" speeds up data entry.Quick-filters to readily find a submit. Standard can be auto-selected from batch measurement.
